MACEDONIA-VILLAGE OF KONDOVO-CRISIS
People from the Macedonian village of Kondovo greet ethnic Albanian politicians, Ali Ahmeti (L) and Arben Dzaferi (R), 17 December 2004. An armed group controlled this ethnic Albanian village on the outskirts of the Macedonian capital Skopje for almost two weeks and threatened to shell the Government and the Parliament.
