Construction is run with the world's largest construction vessel Pioneering Spirit with the length of 382 meters and width of 124 meters. Pioneering Spirit departed from Port of Rotterdam. TurkStream will directly connect the large gas reserves in Russia to the Turkish gas transportation network, creating a reliable source of energy for Turkey and south-east Europe as construction of the project began today.
