BOSNIA-ISLAM-FUNDAMENTALISTS-JUSUF-BARCIC
Leader of a fundamentalist Islamic group from North-Eastern Bosnia, Jusuf Barcic, leaves Careva Mosque in Sarajevo, 22 February, 2007. Barcic atempted to give a lecture on "true" Islam after one of the daily payers. The doors of the mosque remained closed after prayer for Barcic and his followers because Bosnian Islamic leaders as well as a majority of Bosnian Muslims refuse any connection with these fundamentalist groups. Barcic was recently accused by local media in Bosnia and Herzegovina to offer monthly pay to those who are willing to follow his teachings. AFP PHOTO ELVIS BARUKCIC
