Ingeborg Braeunlich, the mother of Iraq held Rene Braeunlich, lights a candle during a light chain to appeal for the release of the two German hostages in Iraq Rene Braeunlich and Thomas Nitzschke, 16 February 2006 around Leipzig-s Nikolaikirche church. The engineers, who work for a German gas equipment installation company , were captured January 24 near the Baiji oil refinery compound by armed men in military uniform.
